The
types of course that can be taken.
• The Foundation offers assistance for both
full time and part time courses, as well as for sandwich
and correspondence courses.
• The course for which you enrol should normally
offer formal qualifications at a higher level or a
qualification with a recognised professional or vocational
body.
• The course venue does not have to be in North
Devon, but preference is given to those who intend
to return to North Devon to work.
Foundation Administration
The Foundation's board of governors meet regularly
to grant awards. A Foundation administrator is available
to answer all queries and to see to the day to day
running of the Foundation.
By January 2004 the Foundation had given out more
than 1000 grants to deserving individuals, totalling
nearly £200,000.
